I think I'm going to have to learn some language or other, just so I can write a World of Darkness sorter. See, someone's
already done it, and I am Not Impressed.
I'm sure he means well, but his test only sorts the testee into one of the five very broad categories (Changeling, Mage, Vampire, Werewolf, Wraith, though apparently not Hunter -- did that game not catch on, or did they discontinue it, or what?), not into the scads and scads of very specific factions the way the
D&D character test more or less does (there are fewer factions in D&D, but that's to be expected). And the perfect test would do all the bete, crafts and the like. Sigh. Anyone know a good web resource for people wanting to learn CGI scripting?
I just ran Sweeney through the D&D test again, since there were new questions, and he came out a chaotic evil elf thief mage, follower of Mask, which is pretty much the same as last time, actually. I think I'd classify him as chaotic neutral, but he is a remorseless, amoral bastard, so I suppose 'evil' is fair. Of course, he's also a pretty lady. I think there's a scene early in the WIP wherein the party is stopped for lunch and Sweeney braids daisies into his hair, causing Rook's brain to hurt.
