1. How many TVs do you have in your home?
One.
2. On average, how much TV do you watch in a week?
I watch the Daily Show whenever I remember, which is most days, and I usually watch it more than once. Now that the season has started, I'm also watching an alarming number of hour-long shows -- Buffy and Angel, with an increasingly jandiced eye, Birds of Prey, Firefly and John Doe with an even more jaundiced eye, and Haunted with, to my surprise, genuine interest and enjoyment.
3. Do you feel that television is bad for young children?
Incompetent, irresponsible parenting is bad for children. All else is mere detail.
4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you're heartbroken?
I am loudly annoyed when I miss the Daily Show or, during its season, Witchblade. But I haven't experienced that sort of TV-compulsion since Total Recall 2070 went off the air, allowing me to get more than four hours of sleep at a time again.
5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like?
See, the reason I don't have a television network is I'm not the sort of person you want to be looking to for this sort of thing. Probably lots of good standup, really old -- years old -- reruns of the Daily Show, since they don't seem to be inclined to release them on DVD and ... I haven't got a DVD player anyway, shows like Black Books and the aforementioned Total Recall 2070 that were unjustly dropped by The Man. And porn, at completely random intervals. The good kind, with people who can act and writers who have a sense of humor. I'm sure some must exist.

shaddragon answered some questionnaires last night, and I thought one of the questions (well, it's not technically a question) was amusing:

How do you feel about media representations of you, particularly the prevalent modern Western image, which in no way resembles a member of your ethnic group and in fact sports a hair style that would have been frowned upon by your contemporaries?
