strange_aeonsSo, we got a kitten. He's a moggy, though from the shape of his head I suspect him of having some skaukatt ancestry. Not much, to judge from his size, but he's got the coat for it. He's blue and white, and tiny, and adorable. At the moment it's uncertain how well he'll get along with our existing cat -- who's at least four or five times his size, and not mean, but a domineering bastard nonetheless -- so we're keeping him in the big kennel with various cat accoutrements. This is difficult for me; he has an extraordinarily sad meow.
In other news, I've written about 3.6k words in the last four days (today included), with a fairly even spread, and in between I've been playing Zeus again. I'd nearly forgotten how completely soul-eating that game is. On the one hand, this is an enormous waste of time; on the other, it's ... interesting: if I can devote energy to writing and Zeus in the same day, might I perhaps be able to devote energy to writing and art in the same day as well?
More on this as soon as I get brave enough to try it.
